Vase of Flowers

I made this card for the challenge at Joan's Garden's.  This really gave me fits yesterday but this morning it all came together and I'm pretty happy with it. The rules are * Use some kind of container. * Fill it with flowers. * Use yellow, green and orange. * You must use something sold at Joan's Gardens on your card. * You can enter three cards. My vase is the Memory Box Classic egg, I nipped off the top and used that for the bottom, then ran it through the folder Basketweave by Spellbinder's. The flowers are Prim Poppy, Fuchsia Sprig,  and Dancing Tulips all by Memory Box. The doily is French Pastry by Cheery Lynn. the ovals that I used as filler are the petals from the Bubble Daisy Border from Memory Box. All of this was bought at Joan's Gardens. I added liquid pearls and stickles around on the card as filler. I think I might have also gotten the background paper at Joan's but not real sure since it was just laying in my stash. Love Joan's store and friendly service and just charging what it costs her to ship us our new toys and of course the challenges that get me out of my comfort zone. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Butterflies

I love this card and have no clue why it speaks so to me, maybe the bling. The butterflies are Cheery Lynn dies. The rest was laying in my stash. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Iris

This iris is from the set Warm With Love by Theresa Momber. The folder is Chevron by Darice. The ovals are Spellbinder's. I also added liquid pearls. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Happy Birthday Daisy Card

This is a new folder that I got Thursday and had to give it a go. It's the new 3-D Embossibilities from Spellbinders. It's a 5x7 folder but it works out real nice on the smaller cards too. I lightly colored in the daisies with yellow copic's and  the butterfly with Stardust glitter pen. The big butterfly is from Cheery Lynn. The happy birthday is from the Stampin Up set called Bring on the Cake. I used liquid pearls for the center of the daisies, 3 different colors in fact, wasn't real sure how it was going to turn out but after it dried it was fine. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Basket of Flowers

I have had this stamped and colored for awhile now and it just found it's home. The stamp is a Stampin Up stamp called Long Time Friend. The swirls are from Cheery Lynn. The background is 3-D Embossibilities from Spellbinders. I added liquid pearls around the card. Gladys sent me the white background die and I think it might be Gold Labels Eight but not real sure. Sorry Gladys, I know you've told me several times. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Silly Face Flower

Okay this one my sense of humor kicked in. It's not the prettiest card I have ever made but I like it. The face is from Peachy Keen. The stem is a Cheery Lynn  flourish. The die behind the face is from Cheery Lynn. The background is the Basket weave from Spellbinder's new 3-D folders. I added liquid pearls. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Happy Birthday

A lady at work wants a card for her nephew who's turning 2. This is what I came up with for him. My blue is almost to blue but it will have to work. The backgrounds are from my stash. Happy Birthday Train

A lady at work wants a card for her nephew turning 2. He likes trains and 4 wheelers. The train is from Life is Good by Theresa Momber. The happy birthday is from Rubbernecker and I meant for it to be crooked, it was the only way it would fit and I really wanted to use this stamp. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Congratulations

I made these 2 cards this morning and decided to just post them together since they are almost alike. I added some highlights to the card on the left so that the embossed hats would stand out a bit more. The congratulations is from a die made by Cheery Lynn Designs. The folder is by Darice. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Bunny Card

I made this card for the challenge at Joan's Garden's. The rules are * Use some kind of lattice, we want you to be creative. * Use a circle or oval die cut background. * Create a flower that has been painted. You can use gesso on it, acrylic paints, stains, ect. be creative. * Include some dry embossing that has been inked. Okay I'll start at the top of the rules and work my way down. I used Cheery Lynn's Lattice #2 behind my Floral Ovals. I cut the center out of the Floral Ovals with a Classic Oval both dies by Spellbinders. My flower was made using the Donna Salazar dies Rose Creations. I used acrylic paint and Tim Holtz stain, and I added a pearl in the middle. The dry embossing is the folder Brick Wall by Tim Holtz Sizzix, colored to look like real bricks, which doesn't look like it did in my head. I got my order today from Joan's Garden's and HAD to use a couple of the dies on my card. The bunny rabbits are from Impression Obsession. The birds are Resting Birds by Memory Box. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon
