Whatever Clock

I made this card just for pure fun and to get it out of my head. My daughter has a clock that has whatever on it and the numbers at the bottom and I love it and have thought it would make a cute card so here it is. I'm going to enter it into the challenge at Joan's Gardens. The background is the folder Swiss Dots by Cuttlebug. The letters are Alphabet by Parker Lower and the numbers are Classic Numbers both by Memory box. The butterfly is out of vellum with pearls in the middle called Exotic Mini by Cheery Lynn. All can be purchased at Joan's Gardens. The ovals are Classic Ovals by Spellbinder's. The spinner is either Stampin Up or Tim Holtz, I have bought from both so not sure. This week, you can enter 3 cards.
Here is what you need to do:
  • Use polka dots
  • Use some vellum
  • Use Butterflies
  • Use any color combination
  • You must use a product sold at Joan's Gardens. Also, mention that you are doing the card/project for Joan's Gardens Challenge. It would be nice if you would add this link to your post: www.atjoansgardens.com

Stars and Butterfly

I made this card for the challenge at Joan's Gardens. I was so happy to win last weeks challenge and the lady I work with loved the card. On this card I used Swiss Dots folder by Cuttlebug. The stars die I got from Joan's but they didn't have a name on them so I have no clue who makes them. The butterfly is from Les Papillions that was on Joan's Wild Wed. Sale, love that sale. The grass is from Impression Obsession (I used the vellum here) and the doily is Oval Decorative Doily by Die-Namics. The swirl with the heart in the middle is by Zva. All of the above is from Joan's gardens. I have no clue where I got the swirls at the bottom since this was all that was left from a larger swirl. Thanks Joan for Random.org picking me as the winner last week and hopefully can make it 2 in a row, yes I know that's greedy and all the cards are wonderful. This week, you can enter 3 cards.

Happy Birthday

I made this card for the challenge at Joan's Gardens. I haven't played for awhile and I have a friend who has a birthday coming up. The background paper is from Gina K. Designs but the rest was purchased at Joan's and I love her store and she only charges what it costs her to ship, have to love that. The dies I used are Cherise Label, Tiffany Frame both by Memory Box. Mini Fanciful Flourish and Exotic Mini Butterfly both by Cheery Lynn. I think I might have gotten the pearl swirls at Joan's but not sure since it started out as a big swirl and I've cut it into smaller pieces and this was what was left. Here are the rules for the challenge at Joan's Gardens. Keep your fingers crossed that I win. Here is what you need to do:
  • Use a plaid background
  • Use something dimensional
  • Use an embossing folder
  • Make a friend a birthday card
  • You must use a product sold at Joan's Gardens. Also, mention that you are doing the card/project for Joan's Gardens Challenge. It would be nice if you would add this link to your post: www.atjoansgardens.com

Tie Card

This is a very simple card. I just tied a tie and put it on a piece of white and embossed lines down the sides and used a punch to make the collar. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Flower Garden

I thought this was a great idea in my head but it didn't work out in action. The flower embossing folder is Flower Garden by Stampin Up. I cut a section out using the Labels Seventeen by Spellbinders as a template and added in the swirl and glimmer mist and I don't like it even if it wasn't on the purple zebra stripped paper. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Happy Birthday

I have made a card like the before only pink and a lady at work wanted one in purple. I didn't have any purple zebra striped paper but Missi found some at Hobby Lobby and mailed it to me. Thanks Missi. The swirls are Tilda Swirl by Poppy Stamps. The shinny is Floral Ovals by Spellbinders. The happy birthday is from Elegant Greetings by Stampin Up. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

A Sunny Rain

Just had to share this picture. The sun was shinning this morning and it was pouring down rain. Looks like moss on the trees but that's rain. It was so beautiful and peaceful. I didn't see a rainbow but this was well worth seeing. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Happy Birthday Circles

I made the circles with punches and added gems and ran through in the folder Spots and Dots. I added gems all over the place. This card looks much better in real but then most of them do. The happy birthday is from the set Granny's Secret by The Craft Lounge. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Stars Birthday

I've had this Tim Holtz tape for several years and finally used some of it. The stars are from dies but I didn't write the name of them down. the oval is a Spellbinder die and the sentiment is from the set Granny's Secrets by The Craft Lounge. The background folder is called stars. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Books

I saw a card on Pinterest that had books on it and have been wanting to make one so this was the morning. The die is Floral Ovals by Spellbinder's that I just had laying on my work station and decided to use it. I cut off the sides that were sticking off the card and used that for the bottom on the bottom of the card. The background is from Gina K. Designs. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Stork With Twins

A lady at work fell in love with a card I made, I think in Dec. and wanted 30 and asked if I could do any better on the price with getting 30 so I decided to see what I could do and this is what I came up with. I used the stamp Bringing Baby from Stampin Up and used the stamp a ma jig also from Stampin Up to add the second baby. Her sons girlfriend is having twins due in Oct. so if she doesn't like this one then I have plenty of time to come up with something else. This is just a card front so that she can write the invite or whatever she's wanting it for on the back. The swirls are from the Memory Box die and I added liquid pearls. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Happy Birthday

I made this so that the lady at work could have a choice of blingy cards for her daughter's 16th birthday. This shows up not as bright as the pink really is. The sentiment is from Stampin Up's Elegant Greetings. The dies are Floral Ovals by Spellbinder's and the other one is a Memory Box die. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

A lady at work's daughter is turning 16 and she wanted me to make her a girly card. Hope this fits the bill. The doily is Italian Flourish by Cheery Lynn. The balloons are from a punch and the letters and 16 are from dies and I didn't write down the name of them but they are from Memory Box. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Happy Birthday Flower Card

A woman I work with is having a birthday today and since we all forgot we're doing her birthday tomorrow. She has bought every face card that I've made so figured that a face card would make her the happiest. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Thank You Card

We are having to get a new roof on our house so I needed to call people and when I couldn't go get the numbers that I needed, a lady I work with, that could, did go and get the numbers for me. She helped save me thousands of dollars and saved me having to wait until I got home to look up the numbers and then call, so thought I'd make her a thank you card. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon.

Father's Day Tools

I thought this looked like a screwdriver until I had it uploaded here and now I think it looks more like a knife. The nuts, washers and screws are real, they are scraps from work. The rest was made with punches. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon
