Rose Bouquet

I made this card for a lady at work and hopefully she'll like this one. She didn't like the other 2 that I made for her so if she doesn't like this one, guess she can go to a discount store.  The rose is the Stipple Rose from Stampin Up. The bell is from the set Bells and Boughs and I cut out the holly and added gems and also added gems around the middle of the bell. The lily is from the set A Year of Flowers by Melanie Muenchinger. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Butterfly

I made this card for the challenge at Joan's Gardens. The rules are *Polka dots. * Vellum. * Oval. I used the Memory Box die called Maribelle Butterfly on polka dot paper. I didn't realize when ordering it that it was going to be so big. Have to remember to check sizes more often. The oval is Cheery Lynn's Manon's Wedding Garland. The background is vellum embossed in the folder Rectangle Frame #1. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

2013

Okay I know it's really to early for graduation cards but I got these number dies today and wanted to try them out and this was all I could think of to do. The die is called Classic Numbers by Memory Box. The label is called Ribbon Banners by Spellbinder's. The folder is called Graduation Hats by Darice. I cut the bottom of the folder cardstock with the Curved Rectangles by Spellbinders. The stamp is from Stampin Up called Go Graduate. The school colors here in Huntsville are maroon and white. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Butterfly Card

Okay note to myself one more time. Before ordering any dies check the measurements first. I didn't on this one, as you can tell it's HUGE. The butterfly is called Maribelle Butterfly by Memory Box. I just cut this one out because I got the die today and wanted to see if it was really as big as it looked. It was. So I went with the Script folder by Cuttlebug and used Antique Linen Distress ink on the raised parts. I only glued the body down and left the wings loose. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Inspired By Nature

I love this stamp set and hardly ever use it. I have wanted to do a green on green card for awhile and this is it. The stamp set is called Inspired By Nature by Stampin Up. The folder is by Darice called Honeycomb and for the life of me I want to call it chicken wire, looks the same to me.lol. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

40th Anniversary

Our 40th wedding anniversary is coming up on March 3rd but we had our get together today with our families. Had a wonderful day and enjoyed visiting with everyone, although it passed way to fast. My niece made this cake for us and I just love it, it was so gooood and so pretty. I love how she carved our initials into the side of the cake or should I say tree. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Praying For You

I made this for Joan's Garden Challenge. The rules are * Use blue, white and green. * Use a flower that has pattern. * Use a oval. * Use a stamped sentiment. I don't know what went wrong with my photo but it's green with darker green spots in it, not yellow. The flower was made with Cuties 3, the flourish is Mini Fanciful Flourish both by Cheery Lynn. The ovals are Oval Decorative Doilies by Die-Namics all purchased from Joan's Garden's. The background is the Square Lattice by Stampin Up. The sentiment is also from Stampin Up.The blue glitter gems are some that I got in Tulsa. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Lily Rose Bell

A lady at work has a friend/family member who is expecting and she wanted a card made using the baby's name. I think she's trying to come up with cards she thinks I can't make and this one just about done it. I'm not real happy with it but I couldn't get anything else to work so this will have to do. The bell is from Bell and Bow by Cheery Lynn. The rose is from Rubbernecker and the lilies are from Elegant Flowers by Gina K. Designs. I sprayed Sparkling Diamonds made by Tattered Angels, on the background but it's not showing up in the photo. It does look a tad bit better in real life. I really should charge her more for this one.lol. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Lily Rose Bell II

This is the second card that I made using the baby's name. The background is foil in the folder Roses. The bell is Bow and Bell by Cheery Lynn and the lilies are from the set Elegant Flowers by Gina K. Designs. I don't really card for the Stamens but it was all I could do on the foil. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Baby Girl Card

A lady at work wanted me to make her a card for a family member that just became a new Grandmother and this is what I came up with. The babies name is Paisley and she wanted that on the card. Think she's trying to come up with cards that she thinks I can't make. The bow is from the set Bow and Bell by Cheery Lynn Designs. The foot prints are from Hobby Lobby. The foot prints are on a new Spellbinders die that I just got yesterday, it's called
Decorative Labels Eight. I already have the Labels Eight so these should work out well together or at least I have hope that they will. Okay I decided that this card needed something else so this is the edited version of the top card. I do like it a lot better now. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Button HEart

I went shopping with Missi yesterday and got this roll of burlap at Hobby Lobby for half price and I also used the $10.00 gift card that she had given me at Christmas. Thanks Missi. I used fray check to keep the burlap from coming apart and I have no clue if it'll work or not but we'll see. The button is a die that I have had for a long time and it's from Memory Box. The key on the button is from 7 Gypsies. I've had the ribbon longer than I've been making cards lol so I don't have a clue where I got it. The background is a M-Bossibility from Spellbinder's. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Burlap Heart

Here's another burlap heart I made. The background folder is a M-Bossibility. The bling is some that Joan put in my order. There was 2 of them but I cut the other one up and just used pieces of it. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Love

I've had all of this card made for weeks now but in pieces so today I put the pieces together and this is what I came up with. The swirls  are Memory Box. The love is Stampin Up and the background folder is a M-Bossibility. The gems are some that I got at Hobby Lobby. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

With Sympathy

This with sympathy die is from Cheery Lynn and it's one of the dies I picked when I won the year end challenge at Joan's Gardens. The butterfly is also Cheery Lynn Designs with glass chards on it. The stamped flower is from Stampin Up and also the tiny butterfly. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Vintage Heart

I made this card for the challenge at Joan's Gardens. The rule is to *Create a vintage card....no other restrictions. Okay this was a hard one for me because I'm not real sure what vintage is. To me it's old and several layers, so I went with that. The embossed background behind the heart is from Stampin Up. The square lattice folder was used on the blue, also from Stampin Up. The lace and flourish gems are some that I got at Hobby Lobby a long time ago. The heart was laying in my pile of didn't work at the time stuff and the key is from 7 Gypsies. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Two Hearts

I saw in the Wal-Mart ad, a necklace and decided it would make a pretty card and I was right. This one and the previous post used the same idea. The background folder is a M-Bossibilities sprayed with glimmer mist. The square is a Spellbinder die. I added some bling, love bling. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

With Love

I just made this card and love it. It's pretty simple but I decided it didn't need anything else. The hearts are Spellbinder's. The with love is from Hand Penned Holidays. I had to add bling. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Nuts Over You

I woke up in the middle of the night with this card in my head so I made it last night. I got the nuts from work that was trash, since they were small I thought I might figure out how to use them on a card. Thank you for stopping by. Sharon

Sucker For You

I woke up in the middle of the night with this card in my head so I made it last night. I don't like the stamps that I used but all of mine are either to big or to small so then I tried to use the computer to print the sentiment and couldn't get it just right on my card so I pouted for awhile and went with this stamp set. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon
